Les Canning, LL.B (Hons), has practised in Warrington since 1977 setting up Canning & Company in 1982. He is one of the foremost matrimonial lawyers in the area and also deals with Conveyancing and Probate matters.
He has served as legal advisor to the Warrington Citizens' Advice Bureau and is a past President of the Warrington Law Society.

Liz Canning, B.Ed; B.A.Hons; M.A; Dip Soc Admin(distinction) is the Practice Manager and Cashier, and is also responsible for Human Resources issues.
She joined the firm at its inception in 1982.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Accounts Managers.

Julie Browne LL.B (Hons) has specialised in aspects of Family Law since qualification in 2004 and has gained considerable experience in Children Act proceedings, Divorce, Ancillary Relief, and Injunction matters.
Julie has also dealt with a number of applications for leave to remove children from the jurisdiction as well as co-habitation matters under the Trusts of Land Act.

Caroline Hamilton LL.B (Hons), a trainee solicitor, joined the firm in March 2008. Caroline graduated in English law at Dundee University before completing her Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law in 2007 where family law was one of her chosen specialist electives.

Louise Byrne is a Paralegal and has been employed by Canning and Company since February 2001, having previously worked in Solicitors' offices in the Runcorn area.
Louise has experience in Family Law, including Divorces, Children Act Proceedings and Injunction Proceedings.

Janet Litherland is a Paralegal and has been employed by Canning and Company since January 2002, having previously worked in the banking sector.
Janet has completed Part 1 ILEX and has partially completed Part 2 ILEX. >
